Volunteer Opportunities
Donating money is one way to stop the plights of women and girls around the world. Volunteering your talent and time is another way! North Carolina Chapter of UNIFEM/USNC is all voluntary organization and we are looking for volunteers and interns passionate about the issues UNIFEM is focused on.

Event Management:
Assist with planning, publicizing, working at and wrapping up the events. Some events are educational events and some events are fund raise events. Eight to ten hour per month commitment during the months of August to October and/or February to April.
Communication:
Work with local media, write press releases and articles as needed, leverage social media, etc. to increase the public awareness of UNIFEM and issues UNIFEM is addressing. Average 4 hour per month commitment, year around.
Technology:
Keep North Carolina Chapter's website up-to-date and visually appealing. Keep North Carolina Chapter's CRM database up-to-date. Train other volunteers to effectively use the CRM database. Average 4 hour per month commitment, year around.
Board of Directors
In addition to serving the duties required by the board position, board members are expected to recruit new members. The First Vice President and Vice Presidents must also chair or co-chair a committee. Average 10+ hour per month commitment, year around for two years. Election is held in May.
